Manuel Ochoa, founder and president of the Agency Matrix software company, has dedicated most of his life to creating and marketing an easy-to-use software for all agents. The onset of his career began in Texas for an insurance agency, where he worked as an independent agent. Before long, Manuel evolved to representing several Texas managing general agencies and designing complex software. In 2005, he was approached with an offer that would change the course of his life tremendously. A Texas agent and colleague of Ochoa’s personally requested that he program a basic agency management system that was straightforward and effortless for him to use to manage his 30 agency offices. Of course he was up for the offer, and within a few weeks he successfully launched his new creationan insurance software company called Agency Matrix. Instantly, word spread and another colleague approached him about the system for his eight offices.

As Agency Matrix rapidly developed, the insurance software company needed something more. Manuel made the decision to partner with his brother Daniel Ochoa, who is now the vice president of sales and marketing. With Manuel and Daniel working side by side, the business grew like wildfire. Now, our Agency Matrix management system provides a simple, easy-to-use product that provides the efficiency and effectiveness that agents need so that they may focus on what is most important to their business: servicing and growing their book of business. Agency Matrix’s mission is to simply align the goals of the independent agent.

Agency Matrix is a dependable, honest company with employees who are dedicated to achieving the goals of the independent agent. Our coalition of graphic designers, programmers, and Agency Matrix software specialists focus all of their considerable energy into reaching and exceeding the needs of our clients. Our primary profession, as an insurance software company, is to provide Agency Matrix software that will help agents who are servicing and growing their book of business.



Manuel Ochoa – President and Founder

As President and Founder of Agency Matrix, Manuel’s foray into the insurance industry began as a licensed independent property and casualty agent in Texas in the 1990s. Moving on to represent several successful MGAs, Manuel further deepened his insurance experience and understanding of the industry, as well as the inefficient and ineffective processes that burdened the agent and the industry as a whole. As a self-taught software developer, he was able to begin writing code for the MGA where he was working. Manuel saw the need to create a web-based agency management system and, soon thereafter, Agency Matrix software was born. While the first version of Agency Matrix had limited functionality, praise spread quickly among his agent colleagues using the insurance agency software program. Manuel’s background as an agent and programmer turned out to be the perfect mix of talents for such a program, and the Agency Matrix program has continued to grow and evolve based on the feedback and input of its ever growing base of clients. In addition to his insurance and programming experience, Manuel also holds a Cisco CCNP certification, as well as Microsoft certifications of MCSA, MCSE, MCTS and MCDBA.

Daniel Ochoa – Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Daniel’s background spans over 20 years in the insurance industry. During this time, he has had the opportunity to work and gather valuable insight within all facets of the industry. As a marketing representative with several large insurance companies, he was able to travel extensively throughout the industry to meet and work in tandem with countless insurance agency clients. Additional experience within the commercial side of the industry and in premium finance only served to expand his expertise and to provide him with valuable knowledge in all areas of sales, service/support, growth and development. However, the single greatest asset that Daniel brings to our insurance software company is his experience as an agent himself. Having owned and operated his own insurance office, Daniel understands and identifies with the needs and concerns from the agent’s side of the desk.
