Laird Rixford

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Laird Rixford is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the company. Rixford has a proven executive management track record and has more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship and insurance technology.

Laird joined ITC in 2008 as vice president of product development and marketing when ITC acquired his company Evolution Designs and its product Insurance Website Builder. In 2011 he created AgencyBuzz, ITC’s automated agency marketing tool, and was promoted to president in 2014, responsible for the sales and marketing department and overseeing product direction.

An expert in insurance technology and marketing, Rixford is a recognized public speaker and has presented at industry events across the United States. Prior to joining ITC, Rixford provided technology consultation and solutions to banks, mortgage companies, real estate firms and insurance agencies.



Steve Mejdrich

Chief Operating Officer

Steve Mejdrich currently serves as Agency Matrix’s COO, where he manages the day-to-day operation of the company. Prior to joining Agency Matrix, Steve spent over two decades working in and around the insurance industry, where he developed a strong and unique blend of skills managing large retail insurance agencies, regional insurance carriers and Managing General Agencies. Throughout that period Steve has had an affinity for process and technology and a passion for the importance they play in moving the insurance industry forward and keeping the independent insurance agent competitive and viable. Steve has been recognized for his continual focus on business process improvement, revenue generation, team development and his ability to drive organizational change. Steve is technically competent; having designed numerous cost saving process changes and system designs, served as the technical and business lead on enterprise system implementations and envisioned and brought to market numerous custom software solutions. Steve attended Governor’s State University, where he earned a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems. Steve currently sits on multiple volunteer boards and enjoys biking, home improvement projects and spending time with his family.




Manuel Ochoa

President and Founder

Manuel’s foray into the world of insurance began as a licensed independent P&C agent in the 1990s. Moving on to represent several successful Managing General Agents, he experienced the processes that burdened the agent and the industry as a whole. He recognized the need to create a web-based agency management system; hence, Agency Matrix was born. His background as an agent and programmer were ideal for development of such a program, and the software has continued to grow and evolve based on feedback from its ever growing base of clients. In addition to insurance and programming experience, Manuel also holds a Cisco CCNP certification, as well as Microsoft certifications of MCSA, MCSE, MCTS and MCDBA.



Daniel Ochoa

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Daniel’s background spans over 20 years in the insurance industry. As a marketing representative for several large companies, he’s worked with countless agency clients. Additional involvement with the commercial side of the industry and in premium finance have served to expand his expertise and grow his knowledge in all areas of sales, service/support, growth and development. The single greatest asset Daniel brings to our software company is his experience as an agent himself. Having owned and operated his own insurance office,Daniel understands and identifies with the needs and concerns from the agent’s side of the desk.
